Summer Social, Parent and Child Relay

The next social run is Wednesday 13th of July at 6.30 on The Regatta Meadow. This will be a 5 lap race, approx 1500 metres per lap. Either the parent or child must be a member of Riverside or better still if both are members.

The slowest runner will run the first and third leg and the faster runner doing leg two and four, the last lap (lap 5) will be run together as a pair.

This is hopefully going to be a FUN and sociable event and a great chance to run with your Mum or Dad, Son or Daughter and run as a team.

Please bring a picnic for after the race as the plan is to all sit down and enjoy the lovely, hot, Summers evening, (hopefully)

Other family members are all welcome to come down to cheer you on and join in with the picnic afterwards.

This is a new idea and hopefully one that can carry on year after year.
