The club has a team of qualified coaches who are available to lead designated training sessions and provide members with information and advice.
The club participates in a variety of running activities. We have organised or participated in nearly every branch of running; road running, cross-country, triathlons, long distance ultra running, fell running, hash runs and orienteering. We also participate in club events such as the Frostbite Friendly League which takes place throughout the winter months and team events such as the Round Norfolk Relay in September.
The club championships form a key part of the club calendar. Extending over the whole year, it involves taking part in a variety of races. In addition to the club championship, we award a number of other club trophies at the annual Presentation Evening.
We hold occasional social evenings at the Rowing Club, St Neots. This is a friendly and informal occasion where runners can catch up over a drink with news of both running and social events.
There are a number of social activities organized throughout the year which may include social runs during the summer months which follow a route starting and finishing at a country pub, a summer relay with the juniors, club quiz and the annual Presentation Evening usually held in January.
If you would like to run with us a few times before committing yourself to joining, you are welcome to come along to some of our training sessions. While we are pleased to welcome runners of any standard, you must be able to run/jog three miles without stopping*. Monday Club Runs are our shortest and may be the best session to start with. If you intend to come along for the first time please Contact Us so we can arrange for someone to meet you and show you the ropes.
