RR's COVID19 Challenges

Congratulations everyone on all of your amazing achievements during "It's still not Kenny's relay" challenge.
Jo, Michael and Rodrigo have put together the next challenge which started this week, if you have missed this please see details from the FB post below.
Please join us to test your best over the shorter distances in the Riverside Runners ‘Spring Series 5km’
The fastest cumulative ‘5km’ of racing will be rewarded with prizes! Further prize details to follow, you don’t need to be the fastest to win!
This should provide good fun for all members; juniors and seniors alike.
The ‘Spring Series 5km’ will run over the next 3 weeks to keep you all on track.
First up please run your fastest mile and fastest 800 metres (2 independent runs please) over the course of the week and record this on Facebook so we can celebrate your achievements.
Week 1 please test your best at 1 mile and 800 metres
Week 2 please test your best at 1 mile and 100 metres
Week 3 please test your best at 1 mile and 800 metres
You can take a weeks break from 1 of the 1 mile efforts but why not try each week and select the best 2.
Please make sure the runs are continuous not elapsed times we want to see your best continuous attempt over the distances (all totalling 5km)

We will provide a google document in week 3 for you to log all of your performances.
