Ali’s Memorial Tree Planting

Ali’s memorial tree - Saturday 30th October at 2pm at the rowing club.
In order for the day to be relaxed and enjoyable for all, the committee has agreed that no food will be arranged for the day. Instead members are encouraged to bring along a picnic for the day.
A raffle and a quiz is to be arranged to raise money for Ali’s charity.
I am away on holiday soon (14th) so any kind raffle donations would be very much appreciated ideally prior or I can arrange to collect on my return (26th). Club runs will still continue as Lee & Maurice are kindly stepping in during my absence.
The site for the tree is already being prepared and a plaque to commemorate her has been made, all we need is for you, all of her wonderful friends to attend on the day.

We have been pledged a few raffle prizes by local businesses but really need some more if anyone can help.
I will start to sell tickets at all club runs starting on Thursday, they will be £1 a ticket.
Can you please bring the correct money as I will not have change.
I am happy to take bank transfer payments and will send you a photo of your tickets, message me if you are interested in buying some. Thanks
