Riverside Runners Club Championship

RIVERSIDE RUNNERS CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP 2026

The Club Championship is a series of races that are selected for members to race throughout the year to determine the male and female Club Champions. 

The Championship will be split into two elements (a Short Championship and a Long Championship)
To complete the Short and Long Championship you will need to complete one race from each category (with the exception of Frostbites).
The overall male and female Club Championship will be based on the lowest aggregate times when adding the fastest time from each category.

Rules

The championship is only open to first claim members – if you leave the club or downgrade your membership you will no longer be eligible regardless of how many races you may have taken part in.
All runners must state they are representing the club when entering any of the races.
All runners must wear Riverside kit for all races in all race categories.
Runners can run as many races as they wish from each category but only their fastest time will count.
All results must be recorded on the Riverside Runners website by the last day of the year.
All runners must participate in a minimum of 2 frostbites to be eligible (or volunteer at St Neots and run one other)
All runners completing the short and long championship will receive a completion medal.
The winners for age grading and time will receive an award
Overall club champions to be determined by fastest time only.

Cat 3	5 mile	One race from the following: ATW Bedford (Jan 25th) Eye (Thursday 16th July 2026) Beds Charity Chase (Sept 27th) Hatfield (Nov 29th)
Cat 4	XC	Two of the Frostbite League Series: March AC - Elm Road Sports Field (Jan 11th) Fenland RC - Bawsey CP (Feb 01st) BRJ - Jubilee Park (March 01st) St Neots RR - Priory Park (Oct 04th) Bushfield Joggers - Nene Park (1st Nov) Ely Runners - Bens Yard (6th Dec)
Cat 5	10k	One race from the following: Thorney (March 22nd) Cambourne (April 12th) Eye (May 10th) Bedford AAA (June 26th) (CANCELLED) Granchester 10k (27th September) St Albans (Dec 31st)
