A regular handicap race for Riverside Runners members which starts and finishes in Priory Park near the top gate on Rowley Road (PE19 1UF). The event is normally during the second week of each month in the year. The "rules" and scoring etc are available below. Initial set up using the MapRun6 app (which has replaced MapRunF) and hints etc, plus the detailed course map are available above. This event is part of the Annual Awards presentation with a trophy for first place and runner up of the series each year.
Any member wanting to join the Handicap for the first time, just follow the guidance in the linked documents and join in at the appropriate time.
Note that the SB (Seasons Best) bonuses will only start to be awarded after a competitor has gained four previous times (ie the earliest that a competitor will be awarded a SB is May and then only if they have taken part in Jan - Apr inclusive).
Please note that the Senior Handicap is a "No Dogs Event" (can't have pooches dragging athletes up the hills!). Please park with condsideration to householders, pedestrians and other road users.
