Our regular training sessions are listed here.
Qualified club coaches can provide you with a training schedule to help you attain your target and offer advice on warming up, racing and how to avoid injuries.
Important: From Autumn through to Spring high visibility clothing is essential.
The Monday Club Run is usually shorter in distance which may be more suitable for newer runners. While we are pleased to welcome runners of any standard, you should be able to run/jog three or four miles. Experienced runners are assigned to run at the rear to ensure nobody is left behind. The Saturday and Tuesday speedwork sessions and Thursday Club Run are designed for all running abilities.
Note: During Spring/Summer (BST) the second Thursday of every month is from Paxton Pits.
Wednesday social runs around Grafham Water occur on a more ad-hoc basis and are arranged between members via Facebook. Along with high visibility clothing a head torch is essential when running in the dark.
During the summer months Wednesday social runs may be arranged at other locations, such as from a local pub. These are organised via the website or Facebook.
Long runs take place at weekends and are generally 10+ miles. These are usually arranged between members on club runs or via the website or Facebook.
You are welcome to run with your dog unless the session or coach states otherwise. Please read this guidance document for your responsibilities and insurance information.
